Coffee is a gift to this planet. It's easy to make, delicious, and gives us a little jolt of energy.
I was never a big coffee drinker, but then college happened. I went to Georgia State University, which is right in downtown Atlanta, so the coffee options were endless - Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Ebricks, Saxby's, Dancing Goats, Inman Perk, Joe's Coffee. Most of my mornings included crawling out of my bed in my sorority house, brushing my teeth and quickly making my hair look somewhat presentable, throwing on a XXL sorority t-shirt and some Nike shorts, slipping on my Chacos, grabbing my backpack, and rushing out the door to get to class. Most of my mornings also included stopping by a coffee shop for a little morning caffeine. I'm brought to say that I've been a Gold Member at Starbucks for a few years now.
Today is very special day for coffee-lovers who also love all things fall. Today, Starbucks brought back the PSL, AKA pumpkin spice latte, and you know that I stopped and grabbed one before I came to the station today!
Twitter is a great place. It is a funny place. If you aren't on Twitter, you're missing out. PSL-lovers, like me, have been tweeting some great things celebrating the PSL being back at Starbucks.

‘Twas the night before #PSL
and all through the house.
I was full of nervous energy
clearly annoying my spouse.
I loaded extra cash
on my app with great care...
knowing when I awoke
Pumpkin Spice would be there! pic.twitter.com/hPu9iEoltj
Guess who just got his first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the year?— Ryan (@StylesTrip) August 28, 2018
The man inside of me is screaming 'No!' but I can't hear him over the yoga pants I'm wearing. #PSL
sure, it may be hot outside but I’m sipping’ my #PSL anyway 🍁 🎃— Amanda Alvarado (@AmandaDAlvarado) August 28, 2018
