Easy Ways To Exercise Even If You're Busy

Did you know that we should be getting at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous activity each week? Turns out, only 23 percent of Americans currently meet these guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

If you're feeling overwhelmed because you know you aren't exercising as  much as you should, you just have to start and get in a workout whenever you can. Here are a few things you can try to get your workout in!

Do Tabata

This is a form of HIIT, high-intensity interval training, that requires several rounds of intense exercises that you perform in intervals. If you're short on time, this is a great way to get in something quick and requires little to no equipment, so you can do it anywhere!

Work A Lot Of Muscles With A Plank

This doesn't look hard, but don't be fooled. Plus, it works out so many muscles and there are different variations you can do!

Take The Stairs

Forget the elevator and escalator. Take the stairs whenever you can! It is an easy way to work your muscles and you can even turn it in to a workout! Stairs are everywhere.

Do Lunges or Squats

These are some of the easiest exercises you can do and you can do it anywhere and at anytime - on the phone, brushing your teeth, during commercial breaks.

Do Some Burpees

I hate burpees, but it is such an effective move! Do a couple in the morning to wake up or when you get home after your commute home.

There are so many ways to get moving and treat your body well!
