Life Skills To Learn By 30

It is never too late to learn a new skill or develop a new habit to make your life better. You're never too old to make positive changes and learn new things, but there are definitely lessons and skills that, when learned at a younger age, make life a little easier.

Learning how to stick to a budget or speak up for what you want are among the many life skills that are best learned as soon as possible.

It is never too late to learn new skills. You are never too old to learn a lesson. Here are a few skills that you should definitely have down by the time you turn 30.

How To Truly Manage Your Money 

Start getting all your finances in order. Create a budget and stick to it. Apps like Mint help you keep track of your finances everywhere. Work towards paying off your debts, building your savings, and putting money aside for retirement.

How To Think Creatively

Learn to think creatively and for yourself. Your rear view mirror will fall off, you will have to solve a problem at work, and being able to think creatively to solve problems will take you a long way. 

How To Create Small Talk

Honestly, I hate small talk, but it sure is a necessary skill to be able to do this. You never know who will step in that elevator with you or be next to you in the Starbucks line. Knowing how to navigate small talk to crucial. If you don't consider yourself a "small-talker," you've got to practice. Start having short conversations everywhere you go.
