This weekend, Middle Georgians gathered for a peaceful protest on downtown Macon and Warner Robbins as demonstrations following the death of George Floyd.
Small groups were out downtown holding signs that read, "We're Tired" and "Black Lives Matter" joining thousands protesting around the nation.
In Warner Robbins, people gathered to spread the same message on Houston Road.
A Warner Robbins protester told WGXA, "I'm here because I can't stand back and be silent and longer. I've watched people die on the streets and I just can't look away at it anymore. I have to do something and if anybody is, it's gonna be me."
