Georgia early voting postponed amid COVID-19 spread

As the outbreak of COVID-19 spreads and more and more people are contracting the virus, schools, work, and business are shutting down. Early voting is now an addition to the growing list of cancellations this week.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says "We dd not take this decision lightly, we are joined by a number of states who have adjourned upcoming elections following the spread of COVID-19."

Early voting is scheduled to resume April 27th - May 15th.

Raffensperger also stated that if you voted early, your vote does count and will be added to the count in May.
