The Byron Fire Department is kicking off its annual 'Fill the Boot' campaign in support for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The goal of the fundraiser is to raise money to help children and adults who suffer from muscular dystrophy, ALS and other diseases.
Every Friday in July, firefighters with BFD will patrol the streets with boots in hand asking for donations. Those firefighters will be near the Byron exit at the I-75 ramp from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
