Examples of "Being Picked Last in Gym Class" As an Adult

Middle school is an awkward time. Many, if not most people would report that they were NOT superstars in gym class back then. But only one kid gets the joy of being picked last.

Someone asked the internet, "What are examples of 'being picked last in gym class' as an adult?" And here are some highlights . . .

1. Getting invited out...to be the designated driver.

2. Friends wanting a group photo together...and handing YOU the phone.

3. People talking about party plans in front of you...but not inviting you.

4. Everyone going out for lunch at work, but not asking you to join.

5. Finding out your "friends" went out on the town, without calling or texting you.

6. (Or) when your friend who lives out of town comes back for a week, and doesn't bother to tell you.

7. Being sat at the "randoms" table at a wedding.

8. Being invited to an event on the day it's happening, when event that has clearly been planned for weeks or months.

9. When you're the one who always has to drop behind when the path is too narrow for three.

10. Nobody eating your dish at the pot luck.

11. When you've met someone multiple times...but they still say "hey, nice to meet you!"

12. Being single for the greater part of your adult life. And not by choice.
