Usually when you see an ogre's swamp home they tell you to "get out of my swamp," but Shrek's Swamp just opened up as an Airbnb in Scotland!
Obviously it's not a fictional swamp Mike Meyers character Shrek lives in throughout the Shrek franchise, but Airbnb teamed up with DreamWorks to recreate the swampy paradise in real life in the Scottish Highlands.
Bookings open next month starting on October 13th at 1pm where you can request to stay in Shrek's Swamp for a two-night stay. The cost for booking Shrek's Swamp is $0, but Airbnb will make a one-time donation to HopScotch Children's Charity in honor of the Airbnb listing.
The live-in tree stump includes two beds and during the stay, visitors can:
- Relax in the ambiance of “earwax candlelight”
- Kick their feet up with a parfait
- Stay up late swapping stories around the fire
- Enjoy a stack of freshly made waffles in the morning
