There’s a good chance that a lot of young girls will be asking for an American Girl doll for Christmas, but if you want to get your child their special holiday offering you better be ready to open up your wallet.
The popular doll company annual holiday doll will cost $5-thousand and contain five-thousand Swarovski crystals and beads.
If that doesn’t scare you off, it’s important to know that there will actually be only three dolls for sale, with each being displayed at the American Girl flagship stores in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Customers will be able to take selfies with the doll through December 20th, with buyers getting their doll in time for the holidays.
American Girl is also selling a $36 version of the holiday doll’s dress, which can fit any American Girl doll.
And the holiday doll isn’t the only place American Girl is upping the wow factor. The holiday windows in their three flagship stores will debut Friday, featuring Swarovski-themed decorations, made up of crystal-encrusted garlands and 130 lbs of crystal stardust.
To be clear, this is still a store for kids, right??
