How To Beat Spring Allergies

Spring allergies are in high gear for most of the country. We’re sneezing, dealing with itchy eyes, coughing…and getting those lovely sinus headaches. The thing you need to know? Allergies are, in part, a result of what we’re exposed to as kids. If you didn’t get to roll around in mud or play in dirt and even go outside much, a life of allergy battles are ahead of you.

Since we’re adults, it’s too late to fix that, but there are some things you can do to alleviate your allergy symptoms and even prevent some. Natural health expert Bryce Wilde has these tips to combat allergies.

  • Wear a hat and sunglasses. Pollen can settle in our hair and we take it right inside, but a hat prevents that. Sunglasses protect your eyes.
  • Change your pillowcase and throw your pillow in the dryer for five minutes every night before bed.
  • Take a shower every night before bed.
  • Take Quercitin. It’s the pigment in some red and orange veggies.
  • Since 80-percent of your immune system is in your gut. Take prebiotics with your probiotics.
