We celebrated my Mom's birthday, Saturday. My brother-in-law was sitting around the fire pit when he noticed he was being swarmed. Most of us ran in the house, but a few brave souls stayed outside and flipped over the chair. Some bees (or wasps??) had a pretty good size nest established and they didn't appreciate someone was sitting on their house. They were everywhere. Now I know why we've been seeing so many in the backyard this summer!
