The Band Perry’s ‘PSYCHOLOGICAL’ Debuts Day Early On iHeart — How To Listen

The Band Perry’s newest single, “PSYCHOLOGICAL,” officially arrives on Friday (February 13); however, listeners can catch it one day early on iHeartCountry.

iHeartCountry stations nationwide will premiere the new single throughout the day. The band, made up of frontwoman Kimberly Perry and her husband, Johnny Costello, confirmed the song’s release date on January 28 after weeks of cryptic teasers on social media. Kimberly Perry said in a new episode of Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast that a moment in the single “cracked me up immediately” She said for longtime listeners of The Band Perry, “PSYCHOLOGICAL” will feel familiar, while also feeling “like evolution at the same time.”

Kimberly Perry started the band with brothers Reid Perry and Neil Perry. The sibling trio released a self-titled debut album in 2010, which quickly catapulted their careers in music. Thy became known for “If I Die Young,” “Better Dig Two,” “DONE” and other hits. In early 2023, the band said in a statement they’d “decided to take a creative break as a group and each focus on our individual creative pursuits.” The Band Perry played a homecoming show in early 2025 to support relief efforts following Hurricane Helene, and made a comeback with Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry and Costello in June of that year. By October 2025, Reid Perry announced his decision to leave the band. Kimberly Perry wished him “the most wonderful successes in your new era! Love you, brother!”
