There is so much natural wonder to witness in America that will inspire awe in even the most cynical explorer. The country is full of breathtaking state and national parks that give adventurers, amateur enthusiasts and experienced hikers alike, a stunning snapshot of America's natural beauty.

LoveExploring compiled a list of the "best national park" in every state, from "big-hitting" destinations that draw in millions of visitors each year to those featuring a "lesser-known monument or historic site." According to the site, the top choice for Georgia is Cumberland Island National Seashore, a beautiful region full of coastal wilderness. Here's what the site had to say about this gorgeous spot:

"Georgia is known for its wiggly, island-fringed coastline and southerly Cumberland Island National Seashore is one of its prettiest stretches. The park protects about 9,800 acres of coastal wilderness, folding in beaches, marshes, and woodland, and providing a habitat for more than 100 majestic feral horses. Wild swimming is a much-loved activity here (though take care as there are no lifeguards) and you'll get breathtaking views from a kayak too."
