Faith Hill marked the 25th anniversary of one of her most iconic songs in her decades-long career. The country megastar posted a throwback clip that included footage from the music video to her late 1990s smash-hit, “This Kiss,” as the late Barbara Walters spoke about Hill’s skyrocketing rise to fame.

Hill reflected in her caption on Instagram that “25 years ago this month, ‘This Kiss’ was #1 on the country charts and stayed there for 3 weeks. This song changed the course of my career and opened the doors to so many incredible opportunities. I’ll be forever grateful to the writers Beth Nielsen Chapman, Annie Roboff & Robin Lerner and to Stephen Goldman for creating a phenomenal video that brought to life a land of wonder as brilliant as the song. And I’m forever thankful to the fans for always being there and coming along for the ride, wherever it takes us.”

“This Kiss” appeared on Hill’s 1998 record, Faith, a 12-track album that also included “Let Me Let Go,” “The Secret Of Life,” “Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me” with her husband, fellow country star Tim McGraw, and other highlights. Walters noted in the clip Hill shared that “This Kiss” made an impact in both country and pop genres. Watch it here, and watch Hill’s “This Kiss” music video below.
