Carrie Underwood is joining forces with Guns N’ Roses again as she joins the rock legends on select dates of their North American Tour this summer. Those three dates are coming up in the midst of the “Paradise City” rockers’ massive global trek, which also includes stops in the Middle East and Europe.
“SO ready for this!” Underwood gushed on her social media channels as she revealed on Wednesday morning (May 31) that she’s “joining [Guns N’ Roses] for select dates on their North American Tour in August and I CANNOT WAIT!! 🤘”
The “Ghost Story” powerhouse will join Guns N’ Roses for two shows in Canada — in Moncton, New Brunswick, and in Montréal, Québec — on August 5 and August 8, respectively. Underwood will also perform during Guns N’ Roses tour date in Nashville, Tennessee, taking the stage at the home of Major League Soccer club Nashville SC’s stadium that opened in May 2022. That concert is slated for August 26.
Underwood has performed with Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses on several occasions, including during her Stagecoach Music Festival set last year. She also joins the band for two shows at the UK’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer, and brought Rose on stage during her Los Angeles stop on her “Denim & Rhinestones Tour” earlier this year (during those shows, she also delivered epic covers of the band’s “Welcome To The Jungle”).
Guns N’ Roses revealed a list of special guests set to join them on tour in 2023, including Underwood, Alice in Chains, The Pretenders, Dirty Honey and more.
