Filmore is ready to rock an upcoming Fourth of July celebration with Pitbull, his record label announced as Independence Day approaches. Deeming it a “fireworks-ready summertime banger,” the label announced on Friday (June 24) that the featured performance will air on NBC’s Fourth of July special. It’s set to kick off at 8 p.m. CT.

Last year, Filmore caught up with iHeartCountry’s Emily Curl during an exclusive performance and interview. When asked about his dream collaborations, Pitbull immediately came to mind. Filmore said at the time: “There was one time I played a show with Pitbull and Blake Shelton, and it was outrageous. Me, then Pitbull, and all the dancers and everything, then Blake Shelton. So, we’re just gonna go with that as the collab because we’ve already played a show together, so I feel like now we need a song. …It was crazy. I was like, ‘is this really happening?’”

Filmore added that what he learned from the star-studded performance was that “he is really Mr. Worldwide,” he said of Pitbull. “That is what I learned.” Filmore posted a teaser of “USA” on his social media channels, noting the release date of July 1:

NBC's 46th annual "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks® Spectacular" returns for a dazzling night of fireworks, star-studded musical performances and appearances by special guests. Spectators in New York City and from coast-to-coast will have a front-row view to the unparalleled barrage of color, light and sound. The two-hour live telecast will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and will simulcast on Peacock. An encore presentation will follow from 10-11 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.”
