Jason Aldean shared on his Instagram story that his son, Memphis, had to make his first trip to the emergency room on Tuesday (May 17). Luckily, Memphis, 4, is doing well.

“Lil man had his first trip to the ER today,” Aldean wrote in a caption on his story. “Needed 2 stitches and took it like a champ. Back home and rockin.”

Aldean’s wife, Brittany, also shared an update on her Instagram story, writing: “Our day took a turn when Mems fell at the pool.. two stitches under his chin and our official first trip to the E.R. Thankful for such great nurses and one awesome doc. He is doing great… mama’s heart, not so much.”

The visit to the ER comes as the Aldean family enjoys beach life after reportedly buying a new home in Florida. The reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Song of the Year winner (for his powerful breakup duet with Carrie Underwood, “If I Didn’t Love You”) has shared a few photos, including of Memphis and his sister, Navy. “Memphis is on a mission to find some pirate treasure, so we got him a metal detector!” Aldean shared in one caption, wishing him luck on his quest. In another photo of his “beach babies,” Aldean wrote: “As a Beach guy, nothing makes me happier than seeing my babies love the water.” See the adorable photos below:
