Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini Join Star-Studded New Year's Eve Bash

It may only be September, but Music City is preparing to host a New Year's Eve celebration filled with live performances from country music's biggest stars.

CBS announced on Thursday (September 9) that it will air a special celebration to ring in the new year on Friday, December 31. This will be the network's first New Year's Eve special since 1999, per Yahoo. New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash will feature live performances from country superstars like Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, and so many more.

Other artists scheduled to welcome the new year include Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Cole Swindell, and Zac Brown Band. More performers will be announced at a later date.

New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash is set to air from 8 to 11 p.m. ET on CBS. The show will also be available to stream or watch on demand on Paramount+.

Blake Shelton and Cole Swindell are performing during this year's iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One on October 30th in Austin, Texas. Fans can tune in to watch the star-studded show live via an exclusive livestream on LiveXLive.com or the LiveXLive app. iHeartMedia's Country music radio stations will also broadcast the event live, as well as on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio app. Tickets are currently on sale at texasboxoffice.com.

Gabby Barrett will be performing at this year's Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Samsung on September 18th, and fans can tune in to watch the 2021 Daytime Stage on LiveXLive.com and LiveXLive's app. Additionally, watch the main stage of the festival on the evenings of September 17th & 18th on The CW App and CWTV.com. The festival will also be broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. The CW Network will also broadcast a two-night television special on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd from 8-10pm ET/PT. Tickets are currently on sale via AXS.com.
