Newly-Engaged Duane Chapman Honors Late Wife Beth On Anniversary

Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman honored the memory of his late wife, Beth, on what would have been their 14th wedding anniversary.

On Wednesday (May 20), Duane took to Instagram with a heartfelt post dedicated to the love of his life, Beth, who tragically passed away last summer. "She said Big Daddy your going to be so sad when I am not here on our next anniversary why did she have to be so right ??" the 67-year-old reality star captioned a selfie with his beloved.

As fans know, Beth passed away on June 26, 2019, amid her ongoing battle with Stage 2 throat cancer. She was 51. After suffering a medical emergency, she’d been placed in a medically-induced coma just two days after. Months before, she was hospitalized in April 2019 for an “accumulation of fluid in her lungs.”

Beth had been diagnosed with throat cancer since September 2017. Despite undergoing a successful surgery for her condition that same year, the disease returned and required an operation to have a tumor removed from her throat in November 2018.

Duane’s tribute to his late love comes just weeks after the star announced his engagement to Francie Frane, who also lost her husband just six months prior to Beth’s passing in 2019.

“I scream & Cry Beth where are you why did you leave me then I look up & see you Francie & the pain turns to a smile I LOVE YOU WOMAN !!” Duane wrote on Instagram following the engagement news.

According to The Sun, Duane, who will marry for the sixth time, is planning the “biggest wedding there’s ever been” with Francie, which will also be open to the public. Although it’s unclear exactly when the new couple got together, it’s been reported that Duane and Frane started dating earlier this year.
