ANOTHER 'Old Town Road' Remix Is Circulating Online & It Features Lil Wayne

Lil Nas X isn't tired of taking his horse down "Old Town Road."

It looks like fans could be gifted another remix of the chart-topping track after a snippet of Lil Wayne rapping over the country-trap beat surfaced online over the weekend. In the new remix, Weezy is heard rapping, "I got the horses in the back/ She twerking for a pony/ Oh she got that hunky-tonky/ I met her on 'Farmers Only'/ I'm a Young Money cowboy, sitting on my high horse/ Gucci cowboy boots, the snakeskin, oh the python."

The clip hit the Internet on Saturday (July 13), hours after the release of the latest "Old Town Road" remix — featuring Young Thug and Mason Ramsey (a.k.a. "The Walmart Yodeling Boy) — dropped on Friday (July 12).

It's not yet known if the Lil Wayne remix will actually be released.

"Old Town Road" celebrated its 14th week atop the Billboard Hot 100 last week, putting it just three weeks away from breaking the record for the longest time a single has held the number one spot.

As fans know, "Old Town Road" was initially pulled off the country charts for not being country enough. However, Lil Nas X returned to the top of the charts with a killer remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, which catapulted the track to #1 on the Hot 100 chart. "It was so obvious to me after hearing the song just one time. I was thinking, what’s not country about it?" Billy Ray tweeted in response to the song being pulled off Country charts. "What’s the rudimentary element of a country and western song? Then I thought, it’s honest, humble, and has an infectious hook, and a banjo. What the hell more do ya need?"

"A few days passed and I went to the studio to do vocals," he continued. "When I finished the pass, I whistled at the end of the song. Thats when the engineer stood up and said, “that sh*t is fire” We’re keeping that!"
