Ethan Payne's audition for American Idol aired last week and not only did he wow the judges, but it turned into a duet with Luke Bryan.
Payne, a 15-year-old Macon native, walked into his audition and Bryan recognized him. In 2016, Make-A Wish granted Payne's wish to meet Luke Bryan, which turned into Payne teaming up with him on stage to perform "Do I."
Last week, we got to watch Payne's American Idol audition, which ended with all of the judges on their feet applauding. Together, they yelled, "You're going to Hollywood!"
"Absolutely, 100 percent the best day of my life," Payne said while holding his golden ticket.
