How to Prepare Your Babies for the Time Change!

It’s almost time to move your clocks forward! Daylight savings time hits us on Sunday, March 10th, and as a mom of twins, Sisanie was concerned about her babies Aiza and Maxon’s sleep schedules changing.

In the latest Twinning Tuesday update, Sis explains that she is slowly changing their schedule to prepare for the time change.

“We set our clocks forward an hour this Sunday March 10th,” Sis explains in the update. “Starting today, inch your baby’s naps and night sleep earlier by 15 minutes every two days. It usually takes a few days for your child to adjust. Children will be back to their own sleep patterns in 3-5 days.”

Yes, daylight saving time means we lose an hour of sleep, but by preparing your child’s sleep schedule, it will save them — and you! - some pain.

According to the experts, it’s also important to remember however to move everything up 15 minutes to prepare, not just bedtime.
