My dad finally joined the 21st Century over the summer when he was forced to turn in his flip phone for a smartphone, and I'm so glad that he did. Now, he can actually see where I live and what I'm up to through the Marco Polo video messaging app that I also use to stay connected with my daughter and other friends and family.
