The Georgia State Fair is staying open despite COVID-19 concerns. The gates will open to the public on October 2nd at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
The State Fair says that other than wearing a mask, nothing much has changed in regards to daily operations and food prep. Kitchens and equipment will continue to be sanitized and seating will be socially distanced outside stands.
Vendors are feeling optimistic after seeing the results of the Alabama State Fair. The Georgia State Fair is strictly following CDC guidelines.
Fair employees are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of anyone who comes to the fair.
Vendors, staff and people from the community will all be required to get a temperature check at the gate.
