Community members gathered last week on Houston Lake Road at Southside Baptist Church for a Back the Blue event supporting law enforcement.
Community members were able to share their thoughts and feelings on the backlash law enforcement has been facing in the nation.
In an interview with WGXA, Bryan Hunter, a deputy for Byron Police Department said, "This was a great event to show officers they do have our community support. Yes there are bad cops out there and we want them gone as much as anyone else, just like there are bad citizens and we want them gone."
