Over the weekend, a large crowd of locals took to the streets in Warner Robins to march in protest of police brutality and injustice.
The hour long walk was organized by the Houston County NAACP. People from all walks of life joined in and marched down Watson Boulevard.
Reverend Rutha Jackson of gave a passionate address to the crowd. "We join with the young people to ensure that black lives matter to every system in America and throughout the world, and no life can truly matter until black lives matter." Jackson said.
Law enforcement were also in attendance of the march, and a deputy from the Houston County Sheriff's Department addressed the crowd saying, "We're gonna treat people like want our family treated by another officer if everything was the same. So I'll treat you how I would want my father treated or my brother treated,"
The gathering remained peaceful.
