Some Bibb County schools are only allowing its students to carry clear or mesh backpacks for the upcoming 2019-20 school year.
The schools implementing the new backpack rule are:
- Central High School
- Southwest High School
- Westside High School
- Howard High School
- Northeast High School
- Rutland High School
- Appling Middle School
- Ballard Hudson Middle School
- Weaver Middle School
- Alexander II Magnet Elementary School
- Bruce Elementary School
- Burdell-Hunt Magnet Elementary School
